Results Analysis is a global team with locations in Los Angeles, Irvine, London, and Singapore.  The department is responsible for delivering accurate and timely data to the Investment Group (Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts), Marketing, clients, shareholders, and other teams. 


As a Senior Analyst within the Fixed Income team in Los Angeles, you will be focused on engaging with our business partners to delivery timely and accurate performance measurement and analysis.  In addition, you may be involved in the implementation of a new Fixed Income operating system, as well as a new Fixed Income Attribution system. There are two open positions at this time.



  • Performance measurement – calculating, validating, maintaining, and interpreting portfolio results for retail mutual funds, institutional accounts, Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, and composites
  • Performance evaluation – portfolio attribution, style analysis, benchmark analysis, transaction and holdings analysis (e.g., portfolio concentration, portfolio turnover, etc.)  Perform advanced results, statistical, and portfolio analysis. 
  • Leadership – lead projects; may provide direction to other associates; identify new opportunities/strategies
  • Process optimization – developing best practices, increasing efficiency, enhancing capabilities, and mitigating risks. 
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting – Using Excel, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects to develop creative and compelling exhibits
  • Project support – partnering with other business units, our Information Technology Group, or external vendors.



  • Candidates are preferred to have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, MIS, or other quantitative field.
  • Have a related charter (CIPM, CFA, and/or FRM), a related MBA, or have significant and related experience in the field
  • 3+ years of experience with Fixed Income; preferably with Attribution and portfolio analysis
  • Excellent problem solving skills and intellectual curiosity
  • High service orientation, integrity, and ownership of work
  • Strong communication skills; Interpersonal savvy and an ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Some experience with related systems (e.g., FactSet Portfolio Analysis, Point, Bloomberg, MorningStar Direct, BI-SAM B-One, Tableau, Business Objects, or Crystal); Excellent MS Excel skills (e.g., functions, charting, and pivot tables)
  • Data modeling, data manipulation skills, or experience with data warehouse design may be required for some roles
