The Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead leads Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts across Investment Operations (IO) to advancing a culture of continuous improvement while improving operational effectiveness.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for maturing the existing program structure, embedding CI principles, methods and mindset within the organization, training resources, leading, facilitating and participating in CI events.



  • Executes the most complex improvement initiatives or those efforts requiring advanced data / statistical analysis.  This includes the entire lifecycle from planning to implementation.
  • Manages and enhances the CI intake process to enable the identification, prioritization and guiding execution of proposed CI initiatives. Monitors and ensures successful execution of CI efforts by CI coaches / associates.
  • Provides leadership, training, and mentoring to CI coaches and associates. Collaborates with the CI Office and other CI Leads throughout the company to develop and leverage best practices across all of CG. Contributes to continual improvement and standardization of the CI program across CG.
  • Defines and communicates a consistent set of program measurements to monitor and report the adoption and effectiveness of CI efforts.  Leads efforts to engage all levels of management in understanding and supporting CI objectives and the importance of measurement and accountability for results.
  • Develops and maintains reusable CI tools and training to ensure we evolve to needs of business partners. Ensures CI program enhances the organizations operational effectiveness by engaging our partners to identify improvements to risk controls, transaction quality, total processing time, and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with senior leaders to align efficiency and enterprise CI initiatives with broader business objectives.   



  • 8+ Years of experience in planning, process analysis and improvement, project management, or training with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.  MBA Preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.  Candidates with deep experience that are pursuing a Black Belt certification will be considered.
  • Able to engage, communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong track record of driving operational improvements to support business strategies, able to lead/influence organizational change.
  • Act as a key facilitator for change, helping the organization to learn, understand, adjust and cultivate a culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Specific experience and thought leadership in maximizing productivity through the use of innovative tools and methods.
  • Self-starter with proven results in building, managing and developing a high performance team and gaining credibility with multiple stakeholders.
